Malu Trevejo Gets Stuck in Love in ‘En Mi Mente’ Video Premiere

Cuban-American singer-songwriter Malu Trevejo may be a novice in music, but at 14, she’s already a social media mainstay with all the apparent nuts and bolts of a rising star.   After making her Billboard chart debut on Hot Latin Songs with the infectiously syncopated “Luna Llena,” Malu premieres a music video for her newest single “En Mi Mente.” In the middle of a seedy basement of sorts, Malu visibly gripes about a half-true love, yet flirts with solace in knowing she can’t get enough of her playboy. In the end, she settles for her man’s feel-good affection. Directed by David Bohorquez, peep Malu Trevejo’s woes come to life below:

Taemin Shows His Sentimental Side on ‘Day and Night’: Watch the Picturesque Music Video

Just under two months since the release of Move in October, K-pop singer Taemin will return Sunday with an extended version of the album called Move-ing. But ahead of its release, the SHINee member dropped a stunning music video Thursday (Dec. 7) for the new song “Day and Night.” The ambient pop ballad incorporates romantic, flamenco-style strings and layers the singer’s vocals over a swaying, sensual rhythm. With lilting synth beats woven over the melody, it’s a more tender, wistful style than Taemin typically veers toward, but the mellow nature of the song lends itself to one of the artist’s most evocative performances to date. “Day and Night” was co-composed by Taemin and features lyrics penned by the K-pop star. The new song was released ahead of Move-ing through an aesthetically...

Why Did Jonas Brothers’ Kevin Jonas Testify in a FIFA Bribery Trial?

The New York trial of three South American soccer officials has taken another strange twist with surprise testimony by pop star Kevin Jonas. The former member of the Jonas Brothers turned up in the courtroom Thursday (Dec. 7) to bolster testimony that one of the defendants had been bribed with tickets to a Paul McCartney concert in Argentina in 2010. Jonas didn’t have personal knowledge of the bribes but confirmed the ex-Beatle’s concert had taken place as prosecutors said. The defense had refused to acknowledge the concert took place. Jonas says he saw the concert before a show his band was set to play in Buenos Aires. The soccer officials have pleaded not guilty to bribery charges stemming from an investigation of FIFA, soccer’s governing body.

Jamie Foxx Opens First Prive Revaux Eyewear Boutique in New York

Katie Holmes, Nicki Minaj and Odell Beckham Jr. joined the actor for the sunglass brand’s brick-and-mortar debut Monday night. She slipped in quietly after 9 p.m., long after the red carpet had broken up and reporters and photographers had cleared, but Katie Holmes wasn’t going to miss the debut of the first Prive Revaux boutique in New York. In a chic black Zac Posen strapless dress topped with a coat in salmon pink, Holmes arrived after an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of Wag the Dog at the 92nd Street Y; she wasn’t taking any questions, but was on hand to support the guy who quite simply was the life of the party — and perhaps take another small step toward making their relationship public. Jamie Foxx (whom Holmes has reportedly been dating since 2013) was the con...
